The Legend of the Fairy Llamas from Mars

I'm sorry if the page title misled you. This is not an epic story about fairy llamas from Mars, although I might make that into a children's book some day.

No, this page is about me. Not quite as exciting as fairy llamas from Mars, unless of course you stalk me. In that case, this shall be your wet dream.

I'm silent and shy most of the time. Unless you're one of my few friends, that is, because they will tell you I'm outgoing and outspoken. That's only around friends. And around friends I'm quite awkward and obnoxious. Most of the time I'm being told to speak up by people I don't know. I suppose it's been said time and time again by little teenyboppers wanting to look dark and mysterious, but I truly am the type to sit in the corner and observe others. Again, if I'm with friends, I'll sit and observe, then when we see someone who is cool in our eyes or dorky, we'll strike up a conversation about said person.

If you were to call me trailer trash or white trash, you'd be absolutely correct. I grew up in a trailer, with a "redneck" truck driver father and daughter of a farmer mother. I am in every sense of the word "white trash."

I'm also an artist. Well, in the eyes of some I am. To others I'm just a freak who draws freaky things. I like being a freak. :3

I suppose you want random information about me, so here you go:

My favorite colors are grayish/vintage/faded purple, sage green and deep red, especially together on clothes.

My favorite food is catfish, especially the way the fish shop my father and I go do has it done up in spices to give it a "Cajun" taste, done up on the grill and just a bit burnt.

My favorite movies are Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain), Ghost World, Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Tale of Two Sisters, Blues Brothers, Silence of the Lambs, The Gangs of New York, Beetle Juice, James and the Giant Peach (although I'm not a fan of many other Tim Burton movies) and No Country for Old Men

My favorite books are Hold Still by Nina LaCour, Bound by Donna Jo Napoli, The Evil Genius Series by Cathrine Jinks, any book written by Stephen King, any book written by Agatha Christie, A Tale of Two Cities, and La petite fille qui aimait trop les allumettes (The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches) by Gaétan Soucy.

My favorite bands, singers, composers, etc. are Agent Ribbons, Alela Diane, Dead Western, Two Sheds, Coal Beautiere, Insane Clown Posse, Enrico Caruso, The Ink Spots, Etta James,Cab Calloway,  Billie Holiday, Scott Joplin, The Andrews Sisters, Johhny and Edgar Winter, Leon Redbone, Enya, The Zolge, The Distillers, Spinnerette, Voltaire and Eve of Destiny.

My favorite kind of music is indie folk, indie country, classical, old jazz and oldies. Two years ago I would have said ear bleeding death metal and over emotional goth, and while I still like both, I've come to like the stuff indie folk, indie country, etc. much better.

Still under construction. Come back later, please.
